Alright alright. So I may have gone a TINY bit overboard this VIB Sale season… I picked up quite a few items in store and then went back online the next day to order another shipment of items. And on top of that, I placed another order which seems to have gotten lost in the world wide web and I am currently waiting for a response from the Sephora Support team regarding that.

After falling head over heels for the Foreo Luna Mini (a review and comparison to the Clarisonic can be found here), I figured that the next step in my relationship with the brand would be to purchase the full size device. It is currently charging away and I will be using it for the first time tonight! Stay tuned for a post about this item in the near future.

I also picked up the Bumble and Bumble Thickening Dryspun finish, L’Occitane Shower oil, and the Too Faced Shadow Insurance in Champagne after watching a couple of missglamorazzi’s videos on Youtube. My skin is always parched and flaky during the winter months, so hopefully this almond shower oil will help with some of the dryness… And though I don’t style my hair often, the Dryspun Finish spray seemed like a good idea to give my straight, long, sorta-flat hair some oomph after I do decide to style it. The Shadow Insurance in Champagne is creamy and has a beautiful sparkly color similar to that of Urban Decay’s Sin. I can’t say much to its ability to keep eyeshadows from creasing since I’ve been using it alone, but I will give an updated review after some further use.

I’ve been meaning to pick up an SPF serum for the longest time, but I could never justify spending a ton of money on those tiny bottles. So when this great sale came along, I jumped at the chance to grab the Supergoop! SPF 30+ City Sunscreen Serum. I haven’t used it yet (though I should really be using it every day…) but from the tester at Sephora, it seems to come out greasy from the pump, but after you rub it in a bit and let it sit, the greasiness and the slight smell of sunscreen completely disappears. I had wanted to try the Kate Somerville version, but that was nowhere to be found. The sales associate also recommended the Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation Serum. I plan on purchasing this product sometime in the future. It’s a very lightweight foundation serum that provides a little bit of coverage as well as an SPF of 30! It blends in beautifully with all skin shades and gives your skin an even look.

I’m so happy I picked up one of the Peter Thomas Roth Mini Mask Magic Kits when I was in an actual Sephora store. Shortly after I came home and checked online, the product had been sold out. If you missed out on this great purchase, you can find the individual components in larger sizes separately. The Cucumber Gel Mask, Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask and Pumpkin Enzyme Mask were all included in this miniature sample kit. I have yet to try any of the masks out, but you guys can definitely expect a post sometime soon about it.

At checkout, I picked up a deluxe sample size of the Tory Burch Eau de Parfum. I had pretty low expectations for the product after reading through a few reviews online. A lot of reviewers said that the perfume was nothing special and way overpriced. I actually really enjoyed the scent. This perfume has a very floral scent to it, but it isn’t too sweet. It can be used as a transitional scent from spring into fall, and maybe even fall into winter. Since my all-time favorite perfume Burberry Brit Sheer is too light for the fall/winter months, I have been searching around for other options and the Tory Burch perfume is coming in a close second to my other favorite, Dolce&Gabanna 3 L’Imperatrice.

The other set of perfumes that I picked up is actual a combination of two mini travel sizes of the Chloe and Roses de Chloe. I haven’t tried either of these out yet, but from the testers that I smelled at the Sephora store, the Chloe seems pretty similar if not a little sweeter than the Tory Burch perfume and the Roses de Chloe is a tad more floral.

That seems to conclude that overview of my haul. Unfortunately, the VIB sale is now over… But hopefully there’ll be a few more great sales during the upcoming holiday season.

P.S. Neiman Marcus is currently have an amazing sale with the coupon code NOV50 (only until the end of 11-12-14). I’m thinking of picking up this beautiful Tory Burch Robinson Pebbled Purse here for $100 off.
